Privacy notice
Kerpow is a trading name of UP-STRIDE ("we", "us"). We are the controller for the personal data of people who use this website and create a Kerpow account. When agencies and businesses use Kerpow to manage their clients' social media, we process their clients' data on their behalf as a processor.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and login information.
- Brand and content data you give us or ask us to read: website content, brand guidelines, logos, images, posts and approval comments.
- Connected social accounts: account names, profile images and the access needed to publish and read comments, held by our publishing provider.
- Client approver details: names and email addresses you add for approvals.
- Billing details, handled by our payment provider. We never see full card numbers.
- Basic technical logs used to keep the service secure and working.
Why we use it
- To provide Kerpow under our contract with you.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it (legitimate interests).
- To send service emails such as approval requests and account notices.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
We use trusted providers to run Kerpow, under contracts that protect your data:
- Hosting and database (Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase; Cloudflare).
- Social publishing and inbox (Upload-Post).
- AI writing, images, video and website reading (Anthropic, Google Gemini, kie.ai, Shotstack, Firecrawl).
- Email (Resend) and payments (Stripe).
Some providers are outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK we rely on adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. When you close it we delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Emailinfo@kerpow.io. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The Kerpow app uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in.
